Fake money found in a bag in Kibiku
A man who was working in a ‘shamba’ in Kibiku found a bag full of fake currency. The man who is a casual worker alerted the landowner, who in turn reported the findings to a retired area chief. Ngong DCIO office was informed and immediately dispatched a team which collected the fake currency which was in a brown shopping bag. The cash was transported to Ngong Police, where our reporter witnessed the counting. The total amount was Ksh12, 141,000, 6500 Euros, 100 dollars note. Residents of Kibiku are calling for the establishment of ‘Nyumba Kumi’ clusters to combat a possible invasion of criminals in the area.
