Hope For Parents Who Had Given Up After NACADA Opens Branch In Ngong

There is hope for parents who had given up on their sons and daughters who are addicted to drugs and illegal substances, after The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse NACADA opened an office in Ngong Town.

NACADA was established through a Gazette Notice dated April 26, 2001, to undertake public education and awareness campaign against drug abuse, especially among youth in schools and other institutions of higher learning.

Some of the key functions of NACADA include carrying out public education on alcohol and drug abuse, and coordinating and facilitating public participation in the control of alcohol and drug abuse within communities.

NACADA offices will be located at the Deputy County Commissioner’s complex in Ngong town.
